📋 Puja Samagri (Materials Needed)

🙏 Step-by-Step Puja Procedure
Step 1: Preparation (Before Puja)
- Clean the puja room and entire house
- Take a bath and wear clean clothes (traditional preferred)
- Spread red cloth on the altar
- Place Lakshmi-Ganesh idol/picture in the center
- Set up kalash with water, mango leaves, and coconut
Step 2: Ganesh Puja (First)
- Light the diya and incense
- Offer flowers to Lord Ganesh
- Apply kumkum and sandalwood paste
- Chant: "Om Gan Ganapataye Namah" (11 times)
- Offer modak or ladoo as prasad
Step 3: Lakshmi Puja (Main)
- Sprinkle water on yourself and the altar
- Offer flowers to Goddess Lakshmi
- Apply kumkum and sandalwood paste
- Place coins, jewelry (if any) near the idol
- Chant Lakshmi mantras (see below)
- Offer fruits, sweets, and dry fruits
Step 4: Aarti
- Light camphor and perform aarti
- Sing "Om Jai Lakshmi Mata" aarti
- Ring the bell throughout
- Move the aarti in clockwise circular motion
- Touch the aarti flame and apply to forehead
Step 5: Completion
- Offer flowers with both hands
- Touch the idol's feet and pray
- Distribute prasad to family members
- Keep the diya burning all night
